Dennis Anderson Trainee Travel Award

Pride CAPA offers a $250 travel award and a one-year membership to support two trainees attending the AACAP Annual Meeting. As the national organization for LGBTQ+ child and adolescent psychiatrists affiliated with AACAP, Pride CAPA hosts both a business meeting and a reception during the conference. We provide ongoing mentorship, foster a strong professional network, and welcome innovative ideas to enhance the value and impact of our programming for members.

Contribute $25 or more to the Dennis Anderson Travel Award

Your contribution of $25 or more directly supports psychiatry residents and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows in attending the AACAP Annual Meeting. These award recipients have demonstrated excellence in advancing mental health care for LGBTQ youth.

The 2026 application will open on June 15th, 2026 and the awardee will be announced before the AACAP annual meeting held on October 26th through October 31st in Atlanta, GA.
